Pack a Verge X30h or X18 in the AirPorter

Follow these steps to fit the Verge X30h into the AirPorter. For the Verge Tour (S27h), please refer to Pack a Verge Tour (S27h) in the Airporter. For all other Verge bikes, please refer to Pack a Verge in the AirPorter.


Parts Inside the AirPorter:  


1. Hub Axle discs (not required)

2. Front drop out holder (not required)

3. Rear drop out holder (not required)

4. Chainring protector

5. Pedal bag

6. First pad

7. Second pad


Tools Required :

5 mm Hex Key


Step 1 : Remove the Quick Release Pedals and place into the Pedal Bag. Then remove the VRO Stem by loosening with a 5 mm hex key and sliding each side off the Handlepost T-bar, sequentially.





Step 2 : Attach the chainring protector to the chainring.


Step 3 : Lay the AirPorter down flat, open up the cover and lay the buckles on the outside.


Step 4 : Rotate the front wheel 180 degrees clockwise then fold the frame and handlepost. Place the folded frame into the AirPorter crank-side down with wheels on the right hand side, cranks at the bottom and hinge on the left hand side of the AirPorter.


Step 5 : Slide one edge of the first pad between the frame halves, ensure that the frame is protected by sufficient padding.


Step 6 : Fold the first pad over the folded frame and place the handlebar along the left edge of the Airporter.


Step 7 : Place the second pad flat onto the bike to cover the handlepost and place the Seatpost along the bottom edge of the AirPorter.


Step 8 : Clasp the buckles shut and cinch tightly.


Step 9 : Put the pedal bag into the zipper pocket on the inside of the AirPorter Cover.


Step 10 : Close the AirPorter and zipper it closed. Secure zippers in the zipper lock.
