Be kind to your hands

ErgoLock grips are nice and wide for excellent palm support so your hands can relax during the ride. They also lock in place on the handlebars so they’re always in the correct position, unlike non-locking grips which tend to rotate out of position.

Porter Saddle

A new way to carry your bike

One of our favorite ways to get a Tern bike up a set of stairs is to hook the nose of the saddle over a shoulder. It’s fast and easy, but the nose of the saddle can be hard. We solved this pain-point by re-engineering the underside of the saddle into a comfortable shoulder pad. It cushions and “grips” your shoulder so your hands are free to carry other things—like a backpack or the weekend’s groceries.

Telescopic Seatpost

LONGER SEATPOST. SMALLER FOLD.

This seatpost is perfect for tall riders or anyone who likes a compact fold. It extends 90 mm longer than our stock seatpost, but thanks to its unique design, it’s 120 mm shorter when retracted. It features a dual-bolt head design for precise saddle adjustment, and an inner post diameter of 27.2 mm, so you can customize it with other posts.

Pedal Holder

QUICK-RELEASE PEDAL STORAGE

Our bikes come loaded with lots of wow features, but one of our enduring favorites is the quick-release pedal. Once removed, it gives you a smaller and more maneuverable folded package. This under-saddle pedal holder lets you keep your free-floating pedal conveniently at hand.

Valo Light

Floodlights for your ride

La Valo è un fanale potente progettato per farti girare sicuro di notte. Il design unico permette di integrare il fanale direttamente sul manubrio di una bicicletta Tern dotata di attacco manubrio Andros o VRO. In questo modo è protetto dai danneggiamenti e dal furto. E siccome è alimentato da una dinamo, non devi mai preoccuparti di avere le batterie scariche. Accendi l'interruttore e avrai luce all'istante.

L'esperienza di Hermann

Abbiamo progettato il fanale Valo con Hermanns, la società finlandese che costruisce fanali anche per le talpe meccaniche che scavano nelle profondità della Terra. Dunque nessuna sorpresa se il fanale Valo è pensato per lavorare in ogni condizione. E' realizzato in ABS resistente al freddo ed ha al suo interno canalizzazioni per il drenaggio dell'acqua.

Super luminoso

Il fanale Valo ha una luminosità di 41lux, quattro volte più luminoso di quanto preveda la normativa Europea per le luci da bicicletta. Questo significa che avrai un fascio luminoso e ampio che rende l'andare in bicicletta di notte sicuro e rassicurante.

Clarity Optics

The Valo has a carefully shaped mirror that optimizes the beam pattern for cycling. It is wide, so you can see potential obstacles or hazards on the side of the road. It is even, without hotspots, so your night vision is not compromised. And it is clipped at the top of the beam pattern so you don’t blind oncoming cyclists or motorists.

Side Lighting

The Valo has light channels on each side so that you are visible to cars approaching from the sides. For additional safety, the Valo has two additional LED’s on each side, which light up when you’re stopped at a traffic light.

Visor

The Valo protects your sensitive night vision with a small visor that blocks light from the Valo from reflecting back into your eyes.

Patented CryoCore Design

LED lights need to run cool to work optimally. If they run too hot over a period of time, they gradually lose brightness. Most LED lights have a tiny button sized heat sink that is used to dissipate heat. Our patented design connects the Valo to the handlebar so the entire bar is used as a massive heat sink.
