Since the Orox is built to haul both passengers and cargo with confidence, our design team included a wide range of accessory mounting points. While they’re made to handle serious gear, many of these mounting points are also great for smaller add-ons. In this article, we’ll walk you through where to find these mounting points on the Orox ebike and how you can make the most of them.

1. Where are the attachment points on the Orox?
To give you a quick answer, here's a diagram:
The Orox has mounting points on three different sections: at the front of the bike, at the midsection, and the rear. These mounting points can help you carry extra cargo while ensuring convenient access to your stuff.
Some Tern accessories for the Orox also come with useful braze-ons. These are the Trail Rack, Clubhouse Gen 3, and Captain’s Chair. Just like the bike mounting points, they offer convenience for the rider and passenger alike. Let’s get into the details!
2. Mounting points at the front of the Orox
Front Fork
There are ten mounting points on the Orox front fork—five on each side. The three mounting points in a row are braze-ons designed for Anything Cages, whereas the remaining two are for the Trail Rack.

The Trail Rack has four bottle braze-ons—two on each side.
If you want to install bottle cages, no problem—they won’t interfere with your side panniers or cargo on the Trail Rack’s top platform.

3. Mounting points at the midsection of the Orox
Rear rack handle
This part has two eyelets for another bottle mount, our own RidePouch, or any other accessory of your choice that may fit.
You won’t need to worry about anything getting in the way—there’s plenty of space between the accessory and the seatpost. If you’re getting the RidePouch, you can use this handy storage to stash a chain lock, a mini first aid kit, or a tool kit.
This location is super useful for your rear passenger, who can easily grab munchies or a drink from the RidePouch while you do the pedaling!
4. Mounting points at the rear of the Orox
On the top of the rear rack
You may have noticed the four eyelets on the top of the rear rack. These are attachment points for the Captain’s Chair, Clubhouse Gen 3, and Clubhouse Mini.

The mounting points of the Clubhouse Gen 3 are located at the front and rear of the accessory. The front braze-ons are right by the rear rack’s built-in handle—more storage for all kinds of accoutrements, and more convenience for you.

Captain's Chair
The Captain’s Chair also has mounting points for bottle cages and the RidePouch.
They are located on either side of the back of the Captain’s Chair and are also easily accessible for the rear passenger. The mounting points on the bike's rear can be useful if you think it’s a bit too crowded in the front and center of the bike.

TowBar
At the very rear of the Orox ebike is the TowBar—a set of mounting points designed to tow a trailer.
The TowBar has six attachment points, three on each side, and accommodates most trailer hitches from Weber®, Burley®, and Thule®, among others. The TowBar helps you transform the Orox into a versatile tow truck, as it seamlessly connects it to a variety of passenger, cargo, or pet trailers.
You could use the Tail Hitch XL to position the trailer farther back to accommodate loaded Cargo Hold 72 Panniers. If you need to tow an extra bike, combine the Tail Hitch XL with the Bike Tow Kit to ensure safe and secure transportation.
