And we’re willing to back that up with the promise that Tern bike owners can find replacement parts for key components on the bike for at least seven years after the original purchase.

7-Year Support is not a warranty, and replacement parts are not free, but it is a commitment that you’ll always be able to source the parts you need to keep your bike running smoothly for at least seven years. 

With Tern 7-Year Support, you can ride confidently, knowing that you will have ongoing access to the parts you need to maintain and enjoy your bike for the long haul. Tern bikes are not just about the journey today, they're about ensuring a reliable and sustainable ride for many tomorrows.

7-Year Support Details

7-Year Support is available to any original purchaser of a qualified, Tern-branded bike from either Tern or an authorized Tern dealer. Qualified bikes include any bike produced after model year 2017, with the exception of non-Bosch e-bikes or pedelecs, the Cargo Node or Roji models. While identical replacement parts may not always be available, due to regulatory changes, supplier issues or other causes, we will ensure that functionally equivalent parts will be available, either directly from Tern or from a third party, that are sufficient to maintain the bike’s basic functions. The program covers all parts and components for seven years from the date of purchase, except for any Tern-made frame, fork or handlebar post, which are covered under other Tern programs listed on the support page.
